Simple Green Naturals Liquid Hand Soap is water based. It contains a plant-derived surfactant to penetrate greasy soils. Plant-based emulsifiers put the oily soils into solution with water so that they are rinsed off rather than re-deposited onto the hands being cleaned. A sugar-based acid works to remove alkaline soils. Basil, sage, clary sage, rosemary and orange oils provide a fresh scent without phthalates.
The packaging of this Naturals product is 25% or more post-consumer content, recyclable PET plastic, and the label is printed with soy based ink. Full ingredient disclosure is right on the label.
