Description:
Bradfield Organics® Kelp Meal fertilizer is an excellent source of essential micronutrients, enzymes and plant growth regulators, and is a natural source of potash. Low in cellulose, it breaks down quickly and contributes to the accumulation of humus in the soil.
Application Recommendations: Lawns: 5 lbs per 100 square feet in early spring for established lawns; 10 lbs per 100 square feet worked into soil before planting new lawns. Water thoroughly.
Established perennials: Side-dress evenly with ¼ to ½ cup per plant, working gently into soil around plant at the end of the dormant period in early spring and again in late fall. Water thoroughly.
Flowering annuals and vegetable gardens: Evenly mix 1 lb per 100 square feet into soil prior to planting seed beds. Water after planting.
Transplanting container plants: Mix 6 to 8 tablespoons per gallon soil.
House plants: Gently mix into the soil every 6 months and water thoroughly: 1 teaspoon per 6-inch pot 2 teaspoons per 12-inch pot 3 teaspoons per 18-inch pot 4 teaspoons per 24-inch pot
Trees: Apply ¼ to ½ lb per inch of trunk diameter; gently incorporate into the soil around the dripline of the tree in early spring. Water thoroughly.
