Orange oil is an essential oil found in the glands of orange rinds. The oil has a wide array of benefits ranging from personal health and beauty to industrial applications and foodstuffs. A natural, nontoxic substance, it is widely used as a healthy and safe alternative to harsh treatments for insect removal, industrial solvents, stain removers and cleaning products. Orange oil has a pleasantly sweet, citrus aroma that creates a calming effect.
Application Recommendations: Foliar Solution: Mix 1-2 oz. per gallon of water. Diluted solution acts as an insect control when applied to plant foliage using a pump sprayer. Apply during the cooler part of the day to prevent burning of plant foliage.
Soil Drench: Mix 6-8 oz per gallon of water. Diluted solution may be poured directly on soil as a natural control for a variety of mound dwelling insects.
Household Cleaner: Mix 2 oz per gallon of water Dilued solution may be used as a natural household cleaner. Test on a small area before use.
