A highly selective insecticide for use against caterpillars (larvae) of insects in the Lepidoptera family. Honey bees foraging in the area where this product is used are not harmed when Dipel Dust is used according to directions. Effective only when eaten by the caterpillar, a portion of a treated leaf must be eaten to provide a lethal dose. After biting a treated portion of leaf, the caterpillar will stop eating within a few hours and death will follow within a few days. Recommended for use up to day of harvest on most vegetables including but not limited to beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower,celery, cucumbers, curcurbits, collards, eggplant, lettuce, peas, peppers, spinach, tomatoes, turnip greens,and most others. Also recommended for use on most fruits and flowers. Can be used up to and including day of harvest. Dipel dust is also effective on loopers, webworms, army worms, leaf follers and other caterpillars. Lethal to most butterfly caterpillars. |
Shake applicator allows for easy application at recommended rates of product ounce to garden area. Read label carefully and cover plants thoroughly for greatest success. Safe around humans, pets and wildlife including beneficial insects. |
