Composting is becoming a common backyard activity to help reduce “green” waste and create healthier yards and gardens. DeComp-9 Organic Compost Booster speeds up the composting process with patented microorganisms that quickly break down leaves, grass clippings and other yard waste.
When added to compost, the microorganisms in DeComp-9 will grow on organic material, feed on decaying and dead plant matter and convert this waste to nutrients that are usable by plants. All natural and completely safe, DeComp-9 builds nutrient-rich compost that helps build stronger and healthier plants. The finished compost is ideal for use as a soil amendment for gardens and fl ower beds, a top dressing for lawns and groundcovers, and as a growing medium for all kinds of plants.
DeComp-9 contains a high concentration of the patented, benefi cial microorganism Streptomyces violaceusniger strain YCED-9. When mixed with water, the tiny microorganisms in DeComp-9 not only accelerate the natural decomposition process but also boost the overall quality and nutrient content of the finished compost.
Just mix DeComp-9 with water according to the product label and apply on compost piles. Each 20-gram package of DeComp-9 makes 10 gallons of solution. |
For Compost Acceleration/Enhancement:
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of DeComp-9 into 2 gallons of water to create solution. Apply solution to 6 cubic feet of compost. Turn compost after or during application. Turn compost everyday thereafter. Reapply DeComp-9 every 2 weeks during the composting process (about 10 weeks). Use treated compost for potting or instaling new plants, for lawns, or as a base for garden and landscape beds.
For Treating Mulch, Soil, Finished Compost or Other Growing Media:
Dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of DeComp-9 into 1 gallons of water to create solution. Apply solution at a rate of 1 gallon to 2 cubic foot of growing media or until such material is completly saturated without creating run-off. |
